It is never easy to watch your preferred candidate lose. But this is not the end, not even close.

Bernie’s campaign is not over, neither are his chances for the Presidency.

At this moment, there have been a total of 1836 pledged delegates distributed between Bernie and Hillary. That means there are 2215 pledged delegates that are still up for grabs. Furthermore, there are no more southern states left to bolster Hillary’s Delegate count, they have all already voted.

Just think about it, no matter how badly Hillary lost a contest she would immediately point to how she won big in the South. That advantage no longer exists.

Hillary has only won 5 out of 15 non-southern states that already voted.

And of those states, in only two of them did she have a more than 2 delegate lead over Bernie. In only one of them did she win by more than 4 delegates.

If we exclude the South, the delegate count would be 401-454 in favor of Bernie. Outside of the south Bernie is winning 53% of the pledged delegates.

And there are no more southern states left to vote.
