In Argentina, a woman is murdered every 31 hours by their husbands, boyfriends, lovers, actual or exes. A total of 227 women in 2014 and 1.808 since 2008. On May 12, after a 14 y/o girl who was going through her first months of pregnancy was found dead, brutally killed, after days of missing, buried in her boyfriend backyard, who then admitted the crime, the call for the 3th of June in front of the Congress building under the motto Ni Una Menos (not one less) has gone viral. The protest proposes the implementation of the law 26.485 of integral protection of women, a record with official statistics on violence against women and the incorporation of the subject ‘violence against women’ in all educational plans, among other things. Since the announcement of the protest, at least 5 more women were murdered by their male partners. Enough of femicides.
