This just blew my mind and I’ve never seen forgiveness in this way.
Forgive not because some person on the internet tells you that you should, but because it is a personal choice. Never forgive for the sole reason of ‘someone told me to’, never forgive just because you’ve been guilted into it.
Anger is powerful. It is always okay to hang on to anger. It is always okay to not forgive.
