ill start it off: mine was the bluest eye.
Russian photographer Fox Grom on his recent walk with his dogs has captured a beautiful series of photos. He discovered a frozen lake covered with rainwater that created the illusion of the dogs walking on water. The end results are stunning, the way the water blends with the sky is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
After claiming to have watched Felix Baumgartner’s famous Red Bull Stratos jump from the edge of space, recording artist B.o.B is furiously tweeting everything science says about the Earth being round is a total lie. Why is he doing this? We have an idea.

This is particularly sweet because that wolf almost undoubtedly didn’t have a pack. He was lonely. And then he wasn’t lonely: he had all the weird little squished stunted-development wolves and their weird bipedal not-wolves!
anyway next time anyone tells you that internet friendships arent real, in book 3 of the mahabharata there’s a love story that gets told to one of the protags to cheer him up after having, you know, gambled away his entire kingdom, & in this lil story-within-a-story prince nala tells a magic swan to go say hi to princess damayanti & the magic swan happily swans along & tells her how amazing & cool & awesome nala is so she falls in love with him via swan & they message back & forth via birb for a while & the moral of this post is that caring about ppl you’ve never physically met totally has mythological precedent but also i guess you could say the swan was a great wingman!!
There hadn’t been one single baby tortoise sighting in more than a
century on the Galapagos Island of Pinzon, until a small group of the
tiny, shelled youngsters were spotted this year.
The recent births are helping to pull the critically endangered animals
back from the brink of extinction after they were nearly laid to waste
as a result of human activity.
This is huge news for a species that has been struggling to survive for
a century, relying on humans raising young tortoises bred in captivity
until they are large enough to not fall prey to rats and predators.
