What are the odds that Fox News completely ignores this?

This needs to be aired everywhere, day and night. I hope people turn it into advertisements. Damn, I hope it changes a few minds, because this is the reality that so many people are facing every day- and to go back to a system that lets people die for not having enough money is simply inhuman. Our system even still needs massive improvements, it it is BETTER than it was, let’s keep it that way.

“A million students protesting for free education… Not a single one realized that the government does that already? It’s called work for it you over entitled brats…before everyone gets butt hurt, I’m all for figuring out a way to get more assistance, but free? You’re kidding me.” – Tim French

me: I want to be educated

some douche: leave your family when you’re still a minor and become an imperialist murderer

me: why

some douche: you gotta

Like we should be talking about how the military-industrial complex coerces easily-influenced, gullible teenagers into enlisting in order to pay for unattainable higher education.

It’s not “I worked for it lol” it’s “I was tricked into selling my soul and bodily autonomy in order to be the first person in my family to go to college”

Drag ha

Do you know the hoops you have to go through to get it even though you did serve? It was in my contract that I was supposed to get the full GI bill. I did not see any of it at all. I had to take out loans and was never given an explanation as to why they did not give it to me. I hounded them for two years and still received nothing at all.

Plus not everyone who wants to go to the Military can make it. Many people, like me, couldn’t go because of setbacks. For example I have diabetes, some people are color blind, some people have asthma. So no, it’s not just simple to get to the military to get free school.

they LOVE withholding promised benefits

That post is ABLEIST as fuck.

“Feminism killed Rome” is my new favorite sentence of all time.

Also ballooning military spending, a widening gap between rich and poor, religious intolerance following the Emperor’s embrace of Christianity, and lead poisoning of the water supply.

Dear young trans lesbians,

Just sos you know, there have been trans lesbians since forever – in fact a large portion, maybe even a majority, of trans discourse (and queer discourse on trans people) since the 1970s has revolved around trans lesbians due to the radical feminist responses to them (see: Olivia Records, Sandy Stone’s The Empire Strikes Back, Transsexual Empire, Beth Elliott and the Daughters of Bilitis, MichFest and Camp Trans et al.). There was a radical trans lesbian experimental film that discussed (in slightly different language) almost exactly the politics a lot of y'all are talking about today called Gender Troublemakers made in 1993 by then-girlfriends Mirha-Soleil Ross (as Jeanne B.) and the late Xanthra MacKay. The two of them also produced a trans punk zine called Gendertrash From Hell around the same time, some issues of which are available online. There’s a whole bunch of trans lez literature out there (poetry by Trish Salah comes to mind, and of course Nevada by Imogen Binnie). Sylvia Rivera herself, patron saint of the trans movement, may not have identified as a lesbian but was in a relationship with a woman.

I saw someone post today that they didn’t even know trans lesbians were a thing except very recently, and I guess that’s a failure on the part of those from my generation and above who haven’t passed down enough history. So here’s some history for you.

There’s also Carol Riddell who was active in radical feminist organizing in Britain in the 1970′s
