If we barely lose New York, then that is OKAY. But if we win it…it would be a devastating defeat for the Clinton Campaign

I want to stress to every Sanders supporter here to beware of becoming deflated from a loss in New York that is within the margin of error. Bernie may have been born in New York, but Hillary was elected to the Senate because of New York.

But let me whisper of a dream. (Reference)

If Bernie wins New York, even by a slight percentage; then make no mistake, it would be a huge blow to the Clinton Campaign if she lost in her “home state”.

That’s why New York is worth fighting for. That’s why we all have to band together as Americans and reach out to our fellow New Yorkers in anyway that we can.  #FeelTheBern

Never lose sight of the road ahead and the importance of Sander’s message. The fact that Sanders has gotten this far has already sent shock waves through America and we will likely see many “Sanders-like” politicians in the future who were inspired from him. There are other big states ahead after New York that we must not lose sight of.

But………WhatifBerniewinsNewYork

I need my home state to vote for the guy born in Brooklyn. Sanders needs NY as much as America needs Sanders.

If someone isn’t available during your most crucial time, then their presence any other time is useless.

This isn’t realistic for adults. I’m sorry it’s just not.

Don’t fall into believing that, “if they’re a true friend they’ll drop everything and run to be by your side!” crap.

As a responsible adult there will be times that your friends are hurting and you won’t be able to go to them.

There are times that you will have to go to work, or take your sick kid to the doctor, or do many other things that will prevent you from being there for your friend.

When your friend calls you and they’re falling apart and it’s ten minutes until you have to leave for work, you’re not a bad friend for saying, “Look, I love you. I’m sorry this is happening, but I have to go. I’ll call you back tonight when the kids are asleep.” Or “I’m so sorry this is happening. I love you and I want to be here for you but I’ve got to get to work. I’ll call and check on you during my lunch.”

Adult life is hectic and busy with important things all the time and unfortunately it’s also full of shitty things happening to people we love.

Do your best to be there for the people you love and ask for support when you need it but be understanding when being a responsible adult comes before helping you.

The idea that people need to be there any time you need them is really damaging and unhealthy, too. You can’t place value on a person or a relationship based solely on whether or not they’re available, no questions asked, whenever you need them.

In addition to the above: sometimes, someone simply does not have the energy to help. Maybe they’re coming out of a rough patch themself, maybe they have been busy all day, maybe a chronic illness is flaring up. There are a myriad of reasons someone may not be able to be there.

Obviously, if someone is taking you for granted, and never seems to care how you’re doing, that’s an issue. But to write someone off because their life and your life didn’t line up quite right at a given point in time, or maybe even on more than one occasion, is not a healthy way to handle things.

Okay, so I try not to spam-post lots of pictures but I am just too ecstatic about this shoot. You guys know, I am a vintage gal. If it’s A-line i’m happy. I’ve been infatuated from everything to Victorian & Rococo to 60s Mod. I discovered rockabilly and the modern pin up styles on instagram about 2 years ago & I just about fell over. So when the amazing store Sourpuss Clothing said they wanted to send me their Keep Em Flying dress…ahhh!!! They also sent me two rompers to show off.

As usual, I’m always busy so sorry for the lack of posts. There never seems to be enough time to do what I love. But hopefully, I can change that some day!

People who argue that those who “flip burgers” do not deserve a liveable wage while they try to put themselves in the martyr role by proclaiming “well, I have kids and I’m earning a degree so I deserve better pay!” are missing the point entirely. Do they not think the “burger flippers” have families too? Do they not think that the people working at Dunkin Donuts are trying to finish their education? The answer is, of course, no. How could they see beyond their own nose when their head is so far up their ass. Those who work in a “less desired” job are not inferior to those working as EMTs or lawyers. They serve a purpose as you or I do. To assume otherwise is not only ignorant, it’s poisonous and classist.
