shoutout to all my mentally ill kids who are both glad summer is coming but worried that all that free time will only result in self-isolating behavior and/or being in a house w/people who aren’t supportive…. i know in movies we’re supposed to like be partying every night and doing cool hollywood shit but…. i’m just proud of us for surviving another school year….

An easy way to help the bees in your garden this summer is to make a bee waterer. As most water is too deep, bees stand the risk of drowning in any container where they can’t get footing. Fill a pie pan with marbles and a little water to give the bees a place to land and hydrate without falling in! #savethebees #bees #gardening #gardener #beekeeping
If you have a pet-waterer (self watering bowl with the small water jug) those work great too! :)

PS: Bees really like the color blue for some reason. If you want to be super fancy you can add blue flat marbles. They’ll visit regardless because it’s a fresh source of water and they get thirsty from all of their flower visits.
