you know how i bug you to register to vote and then vote and it’s really super-annoying? well the republican party platform is rolling out and it includes a 100% ban on abortions and revocation of same-sex marriage and no background check for guns and oh yes also conversion therapy for LGBTQ+ people so yeah me bugging you is not going to change sorry not sorry please register to vote and then vote?

• coal considered “clean” energy
• pornography declared public menace
• religion (read: Christianity) must be used as guide for legislation
• teaching the bible in public schools
• building a wall along the Mexican border like Trump wants

Please vote and please don’t be complacent. So very not good polling numbers for Clinton came out this morning, and in general I think polling is going to consistently undercount support for Trump (hi, I look at data regarding the election as part of my day job, I am not just talking out of my ass). Vote. Even if you think your state is “safe.” And please learn about your local down-ticket races, because that’s where the policy that affects your daily life happens.

If this passes, it will set our country back DECADES. Reblog so everyone can see and then vote in November.

do i like hillary? no. do i prefer her over trump? fuck yes i do

and if you cant see why bernie endorsed her and just scream at him more about how he betrayed you, you’re immature. plain and simple. by being bitter and voting jill bc of spite youre voting for a trump presidency.

It honestly scares me, looking through all the notes and seeing again and again, things along the lines of “FUCK YOU, WE’RE TIRED OF VOTING FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS AND WE DON’T HAVE TO!”

I… this is how your political system works? Your throwing a tantrum and insisting on not voting/voting for a third party that won’t win isn’t going to change that. And until your entire political system changes, I’m sorry, but this is the choice you are stuck with. And at the end of the day, the lesser of two evils is still the lesser of two evils man.

And please believe me when I say that the rest of the world is watching all of y’all very nervously. We still remember Bush, ok?

Not to mention—HILARY IS NOT JUST THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS. She is an entirely different candidate. They are not in the same CATEGORY. The only reason they’re being compared as such are media narratives that both the left and the right are buying into to make this election seem like it’s between two candidates who have equally valid perspectives and deserve equal consideration. Hilary Clinton is a savvy, hyper-competent, administrator who’s more qualified for this job  than any recent candidate. Donald Trump is A NIGHTMARE of vitriol, ego, inexperience, incompetence, and pure capitalist greed, bordering on nihilism.

I repeat, THEY ARE NOT IN THE SAME CATEGORY of presidential candidates or of human beings.

Most days it’s like ‘What’s the point of doing anything if I’m just going to feel like shit at the end of the day anyway?’ But today I had the energy, so I decided if I was going to feel like shit, at least I will have accomplished something. So I folded the laundry and put it away, ran a load of dishes, scrubbed the kitchen counters, and got the table mostly squared away. And yeah I still feel painfully inadequate and upset with myself, but at least the house is a little cleaner?

I evolved two pokemon today, and caught one new one. It’s a paras, which I thought was another crab thing. Turns out it’s a bug thing. *shrugs* I never played pokemon before, so all the little guys are new to me. It’s fun though. At least it is when the fucking game doesn’t decide to freeze on me. It only does it right when I’ve caught something cool. I swear it knows.
