Anonymous: Hank, you seem excited to vote for Hillary. Could you please share the policy positions she has -- her voting record, and/or the promises she's made on the campaign trail -- that get you excited?

I like that she made it possible for trans people to change their gender on their passport (thus making it possible for them to legally change their gender).

I like that she was a vocal critic of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and helped end it.

I like that she believes climate change exists and is a problem caused by humans.

I like that she wants to raise the national minimum wage to at least $12 per hour.

I like that she wants to raise taxes on the very wealthy.

I like that she wants to preserve the Affordable Care Act, which made it possible for me to get health insurance and afford the medicine that makes me well.

I like that she’s been an unabashed supporter of family planning and a woman’s right to choose.

I like that she worked hard to prevent deadbeat dads from avoiding child support through bankruptcy.

I like that she’s got productive, common sense ideas for immigration reform with a clear, full path to citizenship.

I like that she wants to close background check loopholes for buying guns.

I like that she’s been a critic of current campaign finance laws.

I like that she finished her time as a Senator with a 95% rating from the Human Rights Campaign.

I dunno…I feel like I could write this list for a very very long time, which is what makes me excited about Hillary Clinton.

Le Voyageur Incertain

These images are multiple exposures. Favorite path of discovery for surrealists and artists of the new Vision, the multiple exposure brings simultaneously together the different faces of the city. Jérémie Dru revisits this technique in the Paris today. The eye of the architect caught the buildings, this is palpable in the reproduction of the vertical lines, and in the magic feel given by the transcription of the details.

Train journeys can create this mental state that mix space-times, visual feelings, parts of landscape and thoughts. Memories become much more complex to reach a certain confusion state of the instant consciousness. if there is a photographic parallel to the movement, it would include multiple exposure. Jérémie Dru’s informal correspondences put the viewer in the position of the traveler who skip step, still permeated by the poetry of the woods he just walked through, although he has arrived in town, or in the overcrowded metropolitan. Rings, boulevards, avenues, subway platforms, bridges, railways. The different urban axes are merging, inducing the viewer further, confused by trying to rationalize the perception of an endless landscape passing by.

Um… how the fuck is there a lure on an unreachable pokestop? Like, I’m watching this thing, and there are no boats near it. Why is there a stop even out there?

I mean, I have a kayak at home. I could go get it and paddle out there just to see what the deal is. Is it worth it?

I AM FUCKING DOING THIS.

image

I am literally sitting here in a kayak catching pokemon, and I still can’t figure out how someone got a lure on this pokestop. It’s just me out here, no other boats, like what the hell. People on the shore are staring at me. I can feel them judging me for actually paddling out to this pokestop. GOTTA CATCH EM ALL.

When I got back to the shore, a guy asked me if he could borrow my kayak to get the pokestop, and now I’m charging people $10 a pop to use it.

What a time to be alive
