They released private photos and information. People really hate successful black women, oh my god. Like last time, I’ll be using #LoveforLeslieJ to drum up a bit of positivity.

I’m so disgusted.

Us white ladies who are fans of the new Ghostbusters and who’ve been drooling over Kate McKinnon need to step up and fully support Leslie Jones as well. Because she’s taken more crap for being in that movie than anyone else and none of her co-stars have said anything.

Leslie Jones was just as crucial to that movie being good as anyone else. Her performance was absolutely wonderful. She is a fantastic actress and comedian. She’s gorgeous and talented.

And she doesn’t deserve this bullshit that she’s getting just because she’s a black woman. And that is why she’s been attacked on Twitter and had her website hacked and everything. 

If you say you’re a feminist, if you say you want to support women? Now’s the time to prove it.

if this isn’t proof enough that all the hate towards the the new ghostbusters and its cast is fueled by misogyny (and in leslie’s case, misogynoir) literally fuck off 

I haven’t heard of the other Ghostbusters cast being treated like this. You’d think Leslie was the only one in that movie, not a supporting actor. Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is just quiet. Allies indeed.

I saw Kate support her in an interview but quite frankly it’s not enough. Also this is why intersectional feminism matters. Mainstream feminism does nothing for us. Mainstream feminists is quiet when we are targeted and attacked. Exhibit A. But people want to insist that this race doesn’t add an additional layer abuse. Literally when and where have the other women faced attacks like Leslie has all summer for y'all to say it’s simply sexism?

I’m just so upset because Leslie obviously had so much fun on the press tour, but then she gets cyberbullied horrifically by a bunch of racists. Then she goes and has the time of her life at the olympics and now she has to deal with being doxxed and having her private photos and even personal info out on the internet. This is more than any fucking human deserves to go through. She’s done literally nothing wrong. All she’s done is be super outspoken and successful and these fuckers hate that. Protect Leslie Jones now more than ever, because now is going to be a fragile time. Who knows if she’ll even be on social media after this.
