Because fat people ARE Olympians too!

Please ignore the caption..

No, don’t ignore the caption. This my post, if you want to change something make your own post and reblog it. I’m a fat person, and it’s infuriating to me how much stigma is associated with being fat. That’s why I made this post to show that fat people like me can be athletic, fit and conquer anything people say we can’t. And I’m almost sad I did due to the amount of fatphobia in the comments. In the body posi world many of us are trying to destroy the stigma behind the way the world views fat people. We’re sick of people looking down on us.

There is this very cool thing on BBC where you can type in like your weight and height and find the Olympian who is closest to you in size! It’s awesome to see all the shapes and sizes that Olympians come in!!!!

also she fund raises for planned parenthood and supports gay marriage so yeah this woman can budget, plan nuclear policy, and cook a mean meal and now u know

*watching a nature show about polar bears*

That sounds like David Tennant!

*checks imdb, but there’s nothing listed in his filmography*

Hmm Guess it just sounds like him. I’m probably just associating the accent.

*watching second half of the show later with husband*

Him: Is that David Tennant?

Me: I don’t know! It didn’t show up on his imdb page.

Him: Just google it. I’m usually right on these things. (which is true)

*googles the show*

Me: It is him!

It was a very satisfying and validating moment.

If you ever want to listen to two hours of David Tennant speaking in his original accent about polar bears, Polar Bear: Spy on the Ice is quite good. Plus cute polar bears and other arctic animals.
