Lately I’ve been getting most of my pep talks from Mister Rogers.
Great. Now I’m disappointing Mr. Rogers.
Nah. Mr. Rogers wouldn’t be disappointed. He hopes for the best for us, but he knows life is hard. And he knows you’re doing the best you can. And he’s proud of you for that.
She is a beast and I adore her. Also, what she’s saying and the WAY she says it throughout this interview is so important to listen to. The arguments on the Democratic side are about how best to make progress, the most assured way forward. The goals are the same and the distinction between methods is a matter of degrees.
And, of course, the key point that each Democratic candidate, even on their worst day, is 10000% better than the alternative.

I don’t have anything to add to this, just saving it where I can easily refer back to it because I’m trynna have daughters just like this. And I’m definitely the kind of dad that would text SUPER PERIOD CENTER to my teen shopping for tamps and pads.
Also, I call them “tamps” now instead of tampons because one of the girls I tutor in music theory called them “tamps” the other day and I just thought it was the best abbrev I’ve heard in a minute.
