“That’s when I either open the post in a new tab or add to my reading list if on mobile.”

Reading list? Is this a feature that I don’t have or?

I usually just leave the app open and get back to it later. It’s just frustrating bc I want to scroll through my dash, but I don’t have thr time to read a text heavy post, you know? Tumblr problems.

stop teasing little latina girls for having more body hair than white girls. honestly. it’s so gross. that is a child. a child that cannot control how her body is developing. her natural body should not have to put up with ur bullshit beauty standards.

instead, tell her that u love her bushy eyebrows or that it’s a-ok to have a little hair under ur arms or that girls can have peach fuzz and there’s nothing wrong with that. make sure latina girls know that they are beautiful and loved!!!

Do you ever notice that the really long tumblr posts only show up when you have no time to read them?

The video of police shooing Terence Crutcher may be “the worst we’ve seen yet.”

Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, released video and audio clips Monday from the fatal shooting of Terence Crutcher, a stranded black motorist. The clips, captured from multiple angles on Friday, show 40-year-old Crutcher with his hands up before he is stunned with a stungun and then shot by Tulsa officers.

Authorities gathered local community leaders at Tulsa Police headquarters on Sunday to preview the clips. Ray Owens, a pastor at Metropolitan Baptist Church, was among the 30 people present for the viewing.

“My impression is the video I saw is among the worst that we have seen nationally,” Owens said.

The names of the two officers involved in Crutcher’s death were released Sunday, according to the Tulsa World. Officer Betty Shelby, who fired the gun, was placed on routine administrative leave. The status of Officer Tyler Turnbough, who deployed the stun gun, was unclear.

Community leaders were also troubled by a police helicopter operator’s description of Crutcher.

Just read a post all about politeness and manners between customer service workers and customers, and I just wanted to throw my own rant into my own post.

When I worked at the gas station, I always tried to greet every customer who walked in unless I was really busy. Usually just a ‘Hello. Welcome to Store!’

And you got usually four responses to that.

No acknowledgement at all, or maybe just a nod.

A hello in return.

A genuine 'oh hello! How are you?’ usually from regulars.

And the dreaded: 'How’s it going?’

I never knew how to respond to that. Like it’s a question, so ignoring it seems rude, but many times the person just walked away after asking. Sometimes I would try to answer likrle 'I’m fine. How are you?’ And the really frustrating people would go 'Fine. How are you?’ !!?!?!

Someone explain this to me! I mean if the initial question is just meaning 'hello’ why not just say that? And how am I supposed to tell when someone is actually asking and when they aren’t? I know we are all just trying to be polite, but man I wish people would stop skipping the return hello.

I am dreading going back to work.
