Guys, this is the satellite image of Puerto Rico from the blackout. Due to a fire at a power plant that caused the entire system to collapse, 1.5 million Puerto Ricans haven’t had electricity for over 24 hours.

Tonight is the second night we face with no power. In some municipalities and sectors, people don’t have water either.

Our governor has already declared a state of emergency. Our gas stations get drier each day.
People have been dying and their deaths have been directly/indirectly caused by this blackout. A man was found dead because of inhaling gases that leaked from the electric power generator at his house.

We still don’t know when we are going to continue with our studies in our schools and universities. Right now, I don’t know when I’m heading back to school.

Puerto Rico is suffering and this is an extremely frustrating time for all Boricuas in the island right now. Please share and spread the word of what’s going on.
