this would’ve been so good for me as a kid. nearly all of my behavior problems were autistic meltdowns. just a few minutes of quiet to process inputs and emotions would’ve set me back on track every time.
edit: not trying to derail from the concerns about black kids getting a raw deal in schools. just saying this method would be helpful for disabled kids as well.

Pence is honestly scarier than Trump, because he has actual knowledge and experience passing damaging legislation. He is Trump all dressed up in a calm manner, religious conservatism, and a law degree.
