If you support Trump, you’re racist.

If you support Trump, you’re sexist.

If you support Trump, you’re ableist.

If you support Trump, you’re homophobic.

If you support Trump, you’re transphobic.

If you support Trump, you’re xenophobic.

If you support Trump, you’re Islamophobic.

If you support Trump, you’re fascist.

If you support Trump, you are not a good person.

These are non-debatable. There’s no wriggle room. Loving your children or going to church isn’t going to cut it.

They are not insults. They are statements. They are facts.

There’s no ‘shade of gray’ here. There’s no take backs.

I don’t care what the Republican party used to stand for, I don’t care what your politics and beliefs and all the other bullshit you tell yourself to go to sleep at night. You vote for Trump, you are a fear mongering, hateful bigot, motivated by fear and anger and ignorance and hatred. Period.

It’s not about ‘different opinions’ or ‘political sides’ anymore. This is real life. Wake the fuck up.

Also please unfollow me if you passively or directly support him

If you have an ear piercing that makes it hurt to sleep on that side but you miss sleeping on that side, may I just suggest rolling up a soft blanket and bending it into a horseshoe shape and resting your pierced ear in the center of the blanket??? That way you have a soft makeshift pillow with a hole for your ear so it doesn’t touch anything. It works for me

  • you: "politically correct"
  • me, an intellectual: treating other people with basic human decency

Worried about polls tightening? Vote on November 8th.

Worried about Trump winning? Vote for Hillary on November 8th.

Worried about Republicans keeping majorities in Congress? Vote for Democrats for Senate and House on November 8th.

Worried about Trump winning your state? Vote for Hillary on November 8th.

Want to make Trump lose by a huge margin? Vote for Hillary on November 8th.

Want to make it easier for paid family leave, basic gun control, better health care, and LGBT worker protections pass? Vote for Hillary and the Democrats on November 8th

Want to make it easier for a more moderate or progressive Supreme Court nominee to be appointed? Vote for Hillary and the Democrats on November 8th.

Listen, if Obama’s same voters from 2008 & 2012 show up at the polls, if voter turnout is huge, then Hillary can win and Donald Trump will be defeated in 2016.
And if we’re able to have Democratic majorities in Congress, progress happens easier.

You all have to actually come out and vote for that to happen though, so vote.

I agree for the most part, except if you don’t want to vote for Hillary there are other options. You could vote for Gary Johnson, in some states they are allowing you to write in Bernie Sanders. There are options if enough people vote.

You are missing the point. If people are worried about Trump wining, DO NOT VOTE FOR GARY JOHNSON.

BERNIE SANDERS HAS EXPLICITLY STATED HE DOES NOT WANT YOUR VOTE. HE WANTS YOU TO VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON.

Third party candidates will not and cannot win this presidential election and it is endangering people’s lives by putting Trump close to the presidency. Vote for Hillary Clinton.

2016 U.S. House of Representatives Elections

In 2010, we saw the Tea Party Movement under the guise of the Republican Party sweep into power in the House of Representatives. In 2014, Republicans claimed their largest majority in the House of Reps since 1929

The House of Representatives has several exclusive powers to impeach officials, elect the President if there is no majority in the Electoral College and initiate revenue bills. Remember back in 2013 when Republicans shut down the government? That was because they had control of the House of Representatives, and wanted to defund the Affordable Care Act by striking key provisions in the budget bills passed by the Republicans. We cannot let another House of Representatives under Paul Ryan return to Washington DC in 2017.

Hillary Clinton, when she is elected President this fall, has sweeping policy reforms that need Democratic majorities in both houses of Congress in order to be enacted including: restructuring the Department of Veterans Affairs, Campaign Finance Reform/Ending Citizens United, rebuilding America’s infrastructure, making college affordable, building an economy that works for all Americans, creating a fair tax system and so much more.

The election victory won’t be complete if Hillary Clinton wins the White House. The election victory won’t be complete if Democrats win control of the US Senate. The election victory will be complete if Democrats win the White House, the US Senate and the US House of Representatives. To enact legislation that will have a lasting impact upon all Americans, Democrats must have majorities in both chambers of Congress and win the White House.

Here is a list of the marginal House of Representatives seats that can be won by these progressive Democrats:

Democrats only need thirty two seats to win the House of Representatives. Please vote for these candidates, its the only way we can prevent another two years of Republican obstructionism. If you don’t know your House District, you can locate it here

Remember to vote on November 8! Hillary Clinton isn’t the only person on the ballot and we can’t stop Republican obstructionism without retaking the House!

Also VOTE FOR STATE LEGISLATIVE AND LOCAL OFFICES TOO jfc

Here in the state of Washington (basically as liberal as you get) our state Senate is GOP-controlled. That’s insane. If you look at statistics for how many votes are cast for each position, you can actually see people stop voting as they move down the ballot, and the end result is that candidates for president, governor, etc are huge Democratic wins but in local offices, awful people can just slip through the cracks and these are the people who have the most power to screw up your local community.

A huge feature of how the GOP evolved at the end of the 20th century is they started running radical right-wing candidates for local offices, and because no one was paying attention, they won. In droves. A lot of them are still in office today, and their proteges are filling in where they’re not. That’s part of how the Flint water crisis started. It’s why the Texas School Board has been able to circulate textbooks around the ENTIRE COUNTRY that encourage children to doubt evolution and think of slavery as some acceptable thing.

We can end that legacy. Vote.

VOTE.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERED, AND VOTE

VOTE VOTE VOTE

Remember these elections are JUST AS important as the presidential elections…we don’t JUST need a Democrat in the white house, we need a democrat majority house of representatives as well <3

FBI Director James Comey clears Hillary Clinton after new review of emails

Hillary Clinton will not face any charges over her use of a private email server, after FBI Director James Comey announced on Sunday afternoon that a review of new emails potentially tied to her server did not change the FBI’s position. Trump probably has some outlandish thoughts on the matter, but his aides have taken a drastic measure to prevent him from having a public outburst.
