Black Friday isn’t a holiday, it’s an event. I never got time and a half lmao. You MIGHT get overtime if you stay long enough but it is not a federally recognized holiday so it is not required holiday pay.

and even if they did get holiday pay its still not enough money to make up with the fuckin dumb ass privileged walnuts they have to clean up after! retail and food service workers work extremely hard and a lot of physical labor is required of them! yet fancy desk jobs get paid more when they are doing less! its fucking stupid and anyone who is against raising the minimum wage is a pos bye 👋🏻
