over the past few weeks there has been 3 separate occasions where little old white ladies have tried her. Here’s a recap:
OWL #1 - In the grocery store and this lady comments on how beautiful my daughter is. I say thank you. She says her hair is gorgeous and reaches out, unsolicited and pets my daughter…… My daughter did the matrix on her ass and batted her hand away. The lady says “well that wasn’t very lady like, your mother should teach you some manners” to which my daughter replied “And your mommy should have taught you to keep your hands to yourself”
OWL #2 - At the gas station. Lady comments how pretty my daughter is. My daughter says thank you and then says “I’m a pretty brown girl” and the lady responds with “no honey you are a pretty girl” and my daughters says “I SAIDDDDDDD, I’m a pretty brown girl” the lady just walks off befuddled.
OWL #3 - Grocery story…again. Says nothing and just reaches out and runs her hands through my daughters hair. Turns to me and says “It’s so soft, its not at all NAPPY how I imagined it” By this time I was LIVID…but without skipping a damn beat my daughter says “My hair is like spun silk, you will RESPECT my crown”
A friend of mine who’s been married for 10 years and has 2 children confessed to me yesterday that she’s tired of being a wife and a mother.
This isn’t the first time someone has said this to me. It’s mostly from women who got married and had kids in their early 20’s before they got a chance to realize the woman they really are. And they grow to hate their life and resent their family. And it’s heartbreaking to see how heavy their guilt is.
Marriage and having children is not the ultimate goal for some women. Many do it because they feel it’s the natural order of things and those women usually realize one day that if they had the chance to do it all over again they wouldn’t.
If you have doubts about wanting kids, wait. Don’t pressure yourself to have children because you feel it’s what’s expected of you.
And don’t marry someone either because you feel you must by a certain age or if you feel obligated.
It’s OK if you don’t want to ever get married or have children. It’s OK if you don’t want to become someone’s wife or mother. You’re not less of a woman. Live your life for yourself.
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT! It can never be said enough, honestly.
Okay, I honestly thought Stein’s recount effort would find nothing, and Trump would go on his merry way as President.
However, this week, forces are starting to roll out against the recount in a significant way, and that? That has me thinking that maybe there is something to find after all.
The mainstream media has finally settled on a story, and it’s that Stein’s a loony crackpot for wanting a recount. I’m not linking to this as a quick Google will get you lots of stories of this ilk.
Wisconsin keep increasing the cost of the re-count. It’s now at around $4M (x). That is a lot more than expected. They are refusing to do a hand-count too, which I understand, but given the concern is potential computer hacking, there is a real issue to wanting a hand-count, and the computer people say the same thing (x).
Trump’s team have launched a “defense fund” which kind of implies they think there’s going to be something to defend (x).
Still no smoking guns here, but it’s all pretty shady. What’s the big deal with a recount if there’s nothing to find? I had naively thought Stein would pay the money and a week or so later there’d be the breaking news of a few minor irregularities, but nothing to write home about.
This doesn’t sound like that narrative. Something else is rolling out here, and it’s ugly.
If you’re American, and you are interested in the recount, Stein needs more money because of the Wisconsin fee hike. So far, lots of people have done their best to cast doubt on her using this money for the recount, but the evidence I’ve linked to above says she is using it as promised – it’s also easy to Google if you want to check.
Someone should compile a book of Donald’s tweets before he erases all of them and all we have left are random people with random screenshots with a ton missing. We need a physical copy people can refer to that he cannot erase.
