the way monkeypox is being branded as not really an issue and only affecting men who have sex with other men, is honestly so heartbreaking. did we not learn anything from the 80s AIDS crisis?

monkeypox can be spread through sex, its true, but i’ve seen way too many people making light of the situation, jokes like “oh lol nothing to worry about im a virgin!” or “well im not having gay sex so” and lowering their guard, when according to the who “Monkeypox spreads from person to person through close contact with someone who has a monkeypox rash, including through face-to-face, skin-to-skin, mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-skin contact, including sexual contact. […] Environments can become contaminated with the monkeypox virus, for example when an infectious person touches clothing, bedding, towels, objects, electronics and surfaces. Someone else who touches these items can then become infected.  It is also possible to become infected from breathing in skin flakes or virus from clothing, bedding or towels. This is known as fomite transmission.” and it can also be spread from animals to humans, rodents being one of the possible animal hosts.

be careful, check your symptoms, isolate if neccessary, and remember that anyone can get or pass on monkeypox.

hey friends, please check your 1ml vials of testosterone! there’s been a recall of a Sun Pharm batch because of bacterial contamination. i just checked and i had several from the contaminated lot i had to throw away.

the contaminated batch info is:

HAC3427A

EXP: 8/2023

manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals

and the number for Sun’s Customer Service Department is 1-800-818-4555

There’s more than one batch under the recall list now. If you have a contaminated batch # on your medication, contact your pharmacy about having them replace your medication. (I had several from a prescription I filled in March, so please check your meds)

The recall affects testosterone cypionate injection, 200 mg/mL, 1-mL single-dose vials (NDC 62756-015-40), from lots HAC1974A (Exp. 6/23), HAC1978A (Exp. 6/23), and HAC3427A (Exp. 8/23).
