Because I’ve been watching wayyy too much TOS and I’ve started noticing things
~The little gap in his front teeth.
~The bounce he does when he’s distressed or exited. . His bounce can cure a rainy day Jim.
~He’s so skinny! He’s just a tiny bundle of feelings
~The way he stands sort of balanced on the balls of his feet and leaned forward.
~His smile.
~His little distressed/focused lip lick
~His angry face where it looks like his eyes are going to pop out of his head
~The way he looks between Spock and Jim when they’re not doing something and he just wants them to LISTEN TO HIS DAMN ADVICE
~The way he shifts his jaw around when he’s thinking
~The way he softly touches and comfort his patients int he background of any scene where he taking care of someone.
~How
he’s constantly annoyed at Jim/anyone else when they try to bother his
patients because THEY NEED REST AND IT CAN WAIT TILL LATER JIM!
~That
time he helped a cool alien lady give birth and told her that that it
was her baby and she deserved credit for it and he was just so earnest
and cared about her so much and it was really fucking sweet
~The
fact that the cool alien lady wouldn’t let anyone but him touch her and
called him MACoy and named the baby after him, and Jim and Spock were so
confused but they went with it because of course this would happen with Bones
~The way he says Jim
~The way he says Spock
~The fact that he’s always standing super close to Spock despite the fact that he tries to pretend that they’re not bros 4 life
~The fact that he obviously cares about Spock and actually likes hanging out with him
~His trolling Spock at every possible moment
~The degree to which he cares about his patients and will Dr. the shit out of anyone, anywhere, no matter how inconvenient or dangerous it may be
~His annoyance whenever somebody does something stupid but he can;t do anything because he’s a doctor and not in the chain of command so he just stands there and yells at people
~”You’re out of line Dr.”
“So are you! …SIR!”
~He’s a dad!
~I’m a Dr. not a (insert something here)
~The fact that he’s probably swearing internally 24/7
~Doesn’t likes transporters and isn’t to crazy about Space, despite working IN SPACE
~”I’m just a country doctor”
~Has a habit of letting his patients wander out of sick bay because he turns his back for a few seconds
~His voice. It’s just really calming for some reason
~The look he gets when he’s deep in thought
~Sasses the shit out of his captain, because Spock can’t be the only one to do it
~How easily he gets insulted and or annoyed by Spock
~That time he was under the influence of the chill pill flowers and decided he wanted a mint julep, and proceeded to somehow find the ingredients for a mint julep in the shitty farming settlement, make one, and sit down to enjoy it.
~Really like babies, and is willing to drop all of his grumpy personality to make ridiculous noises at a alien baby
