It really is so funny when an enemy goes “I would not believe that you would do this, Captain Sisko, you, a Federation Captain, the paragon of integrity!” like. Yes, he has a strong moral code that he follows but integrity is not the word I would use. We’ve spent the past 4 seasons seeing him closing an eye on various violations of Federation law and committing some himself, I don’t think he gives a shit about Federation’s integrity
u know that thing where an animals grow in a far off place and some idiot introduces him to a new habitat and it turns out its characteristics that help them in their own sometimes are too helpful in the new one and they become like an invasive species yeah thats the word i was missing anyway back to my point i think i saw a human version of that just now i was driving in tonights snow storm and i saw a man wearing a big ass cowboy hat to keep the snow off him and a bandit red bandana to keep it off his face and a big ass pancho to keep him warm and nice ass cowboy boots to keep his calves dry and he was prancing along while everyone on the road looked miserable and frozen solid and idk i guess the point im trying to make here is i feel like cowboys would have taken over russia if given the chance or something
As an Evolutionary Biologist, this is a roller-coaster from start to finish.
They should’ve let Kira kill Dukat at the end of the cult episode, it would’ve been a fitting way to end his weirdass wraith arc. She should’ve been allowed to kill him and spit in his face as he dies about how he was FUCKING CREEPY for his obsession with her (esp with all the stuff that happened with her Mom??!?!!!!). She of ALL the characters should’ve been allowed to avenge Jadzia and the suffering of the Bajoran people. She said herself she may be able to forgive other individual Cardassians but NEVER DUKAT. I don’t care, whatever the writers did with him could not be NEARLY as satisfying as letting Kira Nerys kill that loser like she’s been vibrating out of her skin to do since episode 1 of season 1
