Shoutout to boringcore queers. Shoutout to queers who just want to wear comfortable clothes that aren’t particularly interesting or attention grabbing. Shoutout to queers who don’t think about clothes as this huge canvas of exploration and just want to wear shorts and a t-shirt. So much of queer culture, especially in spaces like tumblr, puts an emphasis on clothing as Evidence And Expression Of Queerness and it has got to be so alienating to be a person who just wants to wear regular clothes constantly getting that preference associated with “the boring cishets (who are losers)”. Your queerness is not stored in your wardrobe and you’re still cool and interesting even if you don’t want your clothes to be.

genuinely cant stop thinking about whatever early human first looked a literal wolf full in the face and thought domestication would be fun but ALSO cant stop thinking about the ENTIRE early human tribe that absolutely did NOT think to stop them

Slightly related: I read a book by Rick McIntyre, who was official Wolf Guy at Yellowstone Park for 25 years (and studied wolves for 40 yrs total). He describes how, when they’re alone, wolves—both adults and pups—will pick up sticks or bones or bits of animal skin and toss them around to entertain themselves, the way you might toss a ball up and down. They essentially play catch by themselves.

So if wolves do this by themselves, in nature, that means that we saw them playing this game and thought “huh, that wolf enjoys fetching the stick it’s throwing for itself, maybe I could throw it further and it would like that more?” And thus began our two species’ mutual favourite game to play together

But the point is that they invented fetch

they made fetch happen

In the Star Trek au where Cardassians are giaaaant lizard people and Julian moved to Cardassia prime, Garak should carry him around in one of those baby slings when they go to the opera or w/e so he doesn’t get stepped on or hit with someone’s claws/tail

I have a very curious question for people - have any of you had a Peanut Butter and Honey sandwich?

I grew up thinking it was 100% completely normal, but when i brought it up to a friend one time they were like “?????? WHAT???? YOU EAT PEANUT BUTTER AND HONEY???? TOGETHER????”

And im like “Yeah??????? Its no different than PB n J, its just… PB n H?????”

But then they asked around and then reported back to me that THEIR friends didn’t know what i was talking about, so…. As I was reminded of this convo by eating a PB and honey sandwich, i gotta wonder if that’s a thing you guys think is normal or if you’ve even heard of it.
