bigenbysharkshoal said: I’d like to add that a lot of the time when misandrist sentiments are expressed toward men who are minorities (ie trans, gay, poc, disabled, etc), the misandrist statements are rooted in anti-minority bias but because misandrist sentiments are generally accepted in modern feminism, these statements are usually uncriticized. This heavily reflects my experience as a queer, disabled, and Jewish man. I’ve also heard from men of color that this is a present for them as well
