  31. tatterdemalionamberite said: Good post for the most part, but there’s something in it that may cause unnecessary distress and an erroneous impression & I wanted to bring that up: last I checked, most kinds of pediatric therapists want to have at least a brief consultation alone with a kid, so that they can ask questions like “does your parent ever hit you” without being in the presence of the parent, because they’re mandatory reporters and that’s part of intake questionnaires.
