Bots use algorithms to blast massive amounts of people with ad links in comments, reblog and like indiscriminately (piggybacking on real content), and following mass amounts of people. There aren’t people behind their content, they don’t tag their shit nsfw obviously, it uproots convos with dozens of solicitations etc
